Portugal Ultra Triathlon
An Adventure for Charity 2018
Portugal Ultra Triathlon is a long distance triathlon which involves 11.4 km of swimming, 540 km cycling and 126.6 km race. However, it is not just a sports challenge; it is a solidarity adventure. Its mission is to challenge participants’ limits and their resilience, generate social value and supporting local communities.

The Portugal Ultra Triathlon is a self-sufficient challenge, but where participants can rely on the support of their own crew. More information on regulation.
Portugal Ultra Triathlon is not only a sports challenge, it is a solidarity adventure. We will support four charity initiatives dedicated to sports, environment and health improvement.
Donations will be allocated to specific charity projects and cannot be used for other purposes.
All are invited to join this solidarity initiative. To facilitate the collection of contributions through bank transfer, a dedicated account was created in Caixa Geral de Depósitos with NIB 0035 0127 00058650 030 20 (IBAN PT50 0035 0127 00058650 030 20).

The campaign will take place until 30 June 2018. The objective is to gather at least 5 euros for each of the 678 kilometers travelled (i.e. EUR 3 390).
The amount of contributions received will be regularly reported on the Portugal Ultra Triathlon Facebook page, as well as on this page. At the end of the period, the final balances will be announced and, subsequently, also their application.
Portugal Ultra Triathlon is a non-profit initiative, so any remaining economic resources gathered by the organization will also be donated to the charity initiatives mentioned.
The charity institutions that will receive support will be:
Promotes sports as mean to integrate problematic children, as well as adaptive sports.
Its mission is to support victims of traumatic brain injury and is currently supporting Susana Palma, a practitioner of sports in nature.
Located in Caminha municipality, this NGO works in social, educational, cultural, sports and recreational areas, benefiting babies, children, young people and the elderly.
